Losing His Sight and Continuing His Education
My name is Alan Huntley and I am a postgraduate student. I think being registered blind and actually losing my eyesight, it sort of makes you take life in a whole new perspective. When I first came here to study my degree, my end goal was always to become a teacher. Technology has always been a way forward. For me when I lost my eyesight, I turned to technology to assist me to get my goals, and that's what it's done. Canvas I think is a great platform, and it's so accessible.
It's a good way of keeping track of things as well. It's a brilliant, brilliant piece of software. I love it. Never give up. If something gets in your way, find a way around it. If you've got to go through it, go over it, go under it. Never stop learning.
