Northwest Florida State College, located in Niceville near Eglin Air Force Base, serves a largely military-connected student body. Over time, faculty encountered limitations with the institution’s previous video management system, which led many instructors to explore independent approaches for supporting video-based instruction.

NWFSC's partnership with Instructure began years ago, when they adopted Canvas LMS, so they felt condent about the level of support they would receive. They adopted Canvas Studio after seeing its simple and intuitive user interface. Accessibility features like auto-captioning and integrated capabilities like embedded quizzes create an equitable and interactive experience for students.
In just two months, we’ve already logged over 1,300 hours of media across more than 350 courses in Canvas Studio.
