Call for proposals for InstructureCon 2024 is now open!

Share your knowledge. Explain your strategies. Showcase your success story. Submit your proposal below by March 18 and we'll let you know by April 5 if your proposal has been selected.

Submission Requirements

Call for proposals is open until March 18, 2024.

To submit a proposal for consideration, please use the form below. Your proposal must include:

  • Name, title, organization, and contact information
  • Session format, presentation topic and intended audience
  • Session title (12 words or less) Pro tip: Get creative!
  • Session abstract (50 words or less). The abstract will be included in the conference program and should clearly describe what will be covered in your session. The more specific, the better!
  • Takeaways for your audience. Describe what attendees can expect to learn from your session, and be sure to list any resources you plan to provide.

Proposal Details

Session Formats

  • Breakout Session (45 minutes): A standard presentation featuring how-to's, covering best practices, or sharing a use case. The session can be as interactive as you wish but should include time for Q&A.
  • Meet Up (45 minutes): A chance to discuss a trending topic amongst peers.
  • Snapshot Session (20 minutes): A micro presentation on a specific tool, solution, or resource.
  • Panel (45 minutes): A moderated discussion with a panel of co-presenters. Note: All panels must have a moderator, and Instructure can supply a moderator if needed.
  • Poster (presented during a 60-minute timeframe in the Exhibit Hall): Poster presentations are visual conversation starters. Presenters should expect to demonstrate their knowledge on a topic or research and engage with attendees one-on-one or in small groups.

When will I find out if my proposal has been selected?

We will send an email notification regarding your proposal on April 5, 2024.

How will proposals be chosen? 

All proposals will be reviewed and evaluated by the InstructureCon programming steering committee.  The committee considers many factors, including the relevance of the topic, the usefulness of the information, originality, and the potential impact the presentation may have on attendees.

Will speakers receive a registration discount?

Selected presenters will receive a 50% discount or reimbursement on their InstructureCon ’24 registration fees. Please note: one discount will be given per presentation selected.
