From Canvas to Canvas Career: matching the platform to the learner
Intelvio built its training on Canvas, and it worked well for scaling high-quality content. But as their program grew, so did their focus on one specific audience: workforce learners. This group wants something simple. Get in, find what you need, see your progress, get out. That focus led Intelvio to Canvas Career, a platform built specifically for that kind of learner. Watch how they matched the right tool to the right audience.
We started with the Canvas and that's where we started building all of our training, scaling, high quality training I would like to call it. Is a traditional illness. It is not necessarily what we wanted our learners to experience in terms of that workforce audience that we have. We have our audience, it's very particular needs in terms of like, I need to get in to the LMS and get out. It needs to be clear, it needs to be intuitive, it needs to be, I need to see my progress, I need to understand. So the traditional LMS served to provide the content, but there were some gaps on the things that we needed to offer and the experience we wanted to provide for them to be successful, understanding the needs of this workforce audience. So yeah, it's been interesting to now go into Canvas Career to see what we're able to offer, but what Canvas Career is able to provide for us.
