Dr. Iman Megahed

Dr. Iman Megahed is the AVP for Digital Transformation and Chief Strategy and Knowledge Officer at the American University in Cairo. Her role encompasses strategy, assessment, accreditation, institutional research and business intelligence. She also oversees the university’s digital landscape, including information security, systems (ERP), services and infrastructure. Dr. Iman established the business intelligence and data governance functions and serves as the liaison with the Middle States Commission for Higher Education.
Dr. Iman teaches at AUC’s School of Business, specializing in Organization Behavior, Ethics and Management Information Systems. With a career in higher education since 1992, she has extensive expertise in technical and project management skills. Dr. Iman holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior from Cairo University, an MBA and BS in Computer Science from AUC.
