Sidharth is the Vice President of International Strategy for Instructure and oversees the strategy and vision of Product for both Canvas and all of our products from a global perspective. Sidharth manages the strategic direction of the fast growing Instructure Learning Platform and works with the Global teams to ensure that as the Product is developed, that it is thought about in a global capacity. Sidharth works to identify market specific Product initiatives recognising that education can vastly vary between and inside of regions. Additionally, over the past two years he has been overseeing our Online Programs strategy and identifying how Instructure can better service the needs of our users across the globe as they transition their programs to Online and hybrid modalities, including attracting new 'non-traditional' learners.

Sidharth has been actively working in Education Technology for over 10 years and is dedicated to providing avenues for institutions and learners to have access to the best tools and resources to enhance education

An accomplished leader and adviser within the EdTech space, Nathan sits as the director of Instructure for the Middle East & Africa working with existing clients to grow their footprint and assist them to impact more students more efficiently.

Nathan has been an integral part of the ongoing digital transformation in the Middle East & Africa region. Nathan's extensive knowledge of EdTech solutions and his passion for driving positive change in education have allowed him to effectively guide institutions through their digital transformation journeys.

With a PHD in education as well as over 14 years experience as an education consultant I have learned that success is to discover what makes student success possible. Through CTI Serv we provide the services, support, and partnerships, all of which enable our customers to successfully apply solutions to create highly engaging and effective learning environments for their communities.

Dr. Gerrit is the current Director of the Centre for Learning, Teaching and Development at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. His academic career prior to joining Wits stretches over more than 30 years and includes more than eleven years of lecturing, and more than fourteen years of learning experience design, all in Higher Education.

Simon Goldstone is Head of Learning Technology at STADIO and has 20 years of collective experience in Higher Education, both public and private. Simon has a background in Information Technology, having been a systems developer and a solution architect, before moving into Academic Development and Blended Learning delivery. Simon’s passions focus on empowering users and leveraging system capabilities in implementing new processes and navigating change management. When not staring at a screen, Simon is either dreaming up new ways to visualize data or working with his brilliant STADIO team of technologists and support agents. 

With over a decade experience in Marketing gained in tech companies large and small Paul has the strategic mindset as well as the hands-on capabilities to achieve any business goals. Strong communication and people skills have been key assets and as a natural storyteller Paul has conducted multiple lectures, webinars and guest speaker sessions mostly around marketing, technology and motivational speaking.

Agnat Max Makgoale is a Senior Account Manager in the Education sector of Amazon Web Services (AWS), South Africa. He has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, and is passionate about using technology to transform the lives of South Africans at every level, with education being at the centre of it all.
As an AWS speaker, Max delivers engaging and informative presentations on the latest cloud computing trends and technologies. He is particularly interested in the potential of cloud to democratise education and research, and to help universities and other educational institutions compete more effectively in the global arena.
Max is a frequent speaker at industry events, and has also been featured in a number of publications, including ITWeb and Cloud Computing Insider.
Max is a passionate and knowledgeable advocate for the use of cloud computing in education. His presentations are informative and engaging, and he is always happy to answer questions from the audience

Jay currently leads Instructure’s higher education sales efforts team in North America. Prior to taking this role, he has been the regional sales leader for EMEA, as well as for higher education in in the eastern United States.

Prior to joining Instructure in 2019, Jay was the general manager of Edumate, a K-12 school information system (SIS) based in Sydney, Australia. He also held various sales roles with edtech solutions provider Hobsons, working across their entire product suite and in all of their international markets.

Jay has a bachelor’s degree in history from James Madison University.
