De La Salle University (Pamantasang De La Salle, Unibersidad ng De La Salle) is a leading institution in the Philippines, which has received the highest-level accreditation in the country and offers undergraduate and graduate degree programmes.

Committed to reimagining and building on its strengths of classroom instruction and curriculum development, De La Salle University is implementing a new digital platform: Animo Space, powered by the Canvas learning management system. Animo Space is designed to facilitate better learner-teacher engagement and integrate interactive components. 

Among the benefits, De La Salle faculty members will find new tools to help their teaching inside and outside the classroom, including the creation of massive open online courses (MOOCs). Students will find all of their resources in one place, receive assignment and schedule notifications, and access a digital portfolio for their careers after graduation.

Avi is an experienced customer experience and strategy leader with a demonstrated history of working in the education technology and university sectors. He is a lifelong learner with expertise in end-to-end relationship management, learning management, educational technology, and mentorship.  Avi has worked in Education Technology for 20 years, starting with supporting academics and students in the University sector, before shifting focus to the management of the LMS and eLearning Applications as well as the teams providing the support. After 9 years working for Universities, Avi moved into the Tech Sector and has since worked in a number of roles supporting customers and selling solutions. In 2018 Avi moved to Instructure in a Strategic role and now leads the Customer Experience team (Implementation, Customer Success Management and Renewals) throughout the APAC region.
