Canvas is taking a road trip!
We are running a series of teacher-led events across the country to connect like-minded educators in your community, because good things happen when open, innovative minds get together to share ideas.
We want each pit stop of this road trip to create a great opportunity for educators to share their knowledge and experiences while also learning from their peers. At each event presenters from the host Schools will be sharing their stories and showcasing their successes on a wide range of topics.
St Peter’s Girls’ School
Our first stop on the 2018 tour is St Peter’s Girls’ School, an ELC to Year 12 Anglican and International Baccalaureate World School located in Stonyfell, just 5km from Adelaide's CBD.
Our host Melissa Bray, an eLearning Integrator, and her fellow teachers will be sharing stories including:
-How they use Canvas as a social connector and tool to build EQ over IQ.
-How the School builds self-efficacy and student ownership of their learning, co-authoring, leadership and responsible digital citizenship
-How they are building connections between the classroom and home in sharing learning with families
Time has also been allocated on the agenda for round-table discussions and networking to allow all attendees who wish to participate to showcase their own stories, successes and challenges with the larger group.
