Matt is an experienced creative and digital expert with over 15 years in designing and implementing high-level digital and multimedia solutions. Passionate about user experience and user-centred design, Matt has successfully led and advised in implementing a new 'user first' design methodology approach that is user-focussed in planning, designing and building online distance learning courses.

Working within a specialist team at the University of Birmingham 'Educational Enterprise' Matt and the team are now leading on the development of the University's online teaching portfolio. Using design psychology, usability best practices and a set of design principles Matt and the team have created brand new Distance Learning templates and a student experience that is consistent and free-flowing for all distance learners of the University of Birmingham.
