About Prof. Martin Bean CBE AM
Prof. Martin Bean CBE has spent his career working through many of the questions education leaders face today: how institutions respond to disruption, how technology changes learning, how to serve new kinds of learners, and how to turn change into opportunity.
As former Vice-Chancellor and President of RMIT University and Vice-Chancellor of The Open University, Martin has led large, complex education institutions through significant transformation. His career has also included leading Microsoft’s global Education Products Group and helping establish FutureLearn.
Today, through The Bean Centre, Martin works with education, government, and business leaders around the world on education innovation, lifelong learning, skills, and the changing world of work.
