The pilot that proved Canvas Career was the right call
Before betting on a new platform, smart teams test it. Intelvio, a healthcare training academy, ran a pilot with Canvas Career by Instructure to see if it could handle two hard problems: learners with zero online training experience, and years of existing content.
It passed both tests. Learners with no prior online training got through the program with minimal support. Existing content moved over cleanly. Intelvio walked away with proof, not just hope, that Canvas Career could carry their full program.
Watch how one pilot turned a big decision into an easy one.
We initiated a pilot internally with Canvas Career. That's how that's how we started, you know, trying it, and it was super evident. We did very little onboarding. We had learners in there that had never been or gone through any training online and it was very successful. We had some really great feedback from the get go on the experience that they were having and that was very telling for us because when you do very little onboarding and you have learners who were able to access the training, go through the training with very little support, that told us like, okay, we're on the right path, It's gonna be okay. Like, you know, take that.
And from the, you know, sort of like the content design or content management, that pilot was also very telling for us. We tested migrating existing content. That was, you know, we were that's our fear. Right? Like, what is this going to look like? And we were able to do that successfully on that pilot, but also it helped us identify, okay, what things that we needed to prepare for if we were going to actually move forward with immigration.
