"There are far better things ahead than any we leave behind."
The new year gives us all a chance to reflect on the great things in our lives and to make resolutions for the next year. Our team is already working on the behind-the-scenes details of how to make our premiere event, InstructureCon, even better.
InstructureCon 2018 will take place July 24–26 at the beautiful Keystone Resort in Colorado. This unique conference, chock full of teaching and learning, also provides an opportunity for our company to connect with the people who matter most: you, our users, partners, and other tech enthusiasts.
Experience is the best teacher. We’ve listened to your feedback, and we’re excited to announce five changes you’ll see at InstructureCon 2018:
1. New spaces, new places.
We’re moving our general session to a new tent, so more space will be available to you at the Keystone Conference Center. That brings us to …
2. More breakout rooms.
We’ve added three new rooms to the agenda, which means more sessions for attendees to choose from.
3. Partners in the Conference Center.
Our partnerships combine education, innovation, and technology and allow our users to build a customized learning experience. This year, you’ll have a chance to meet more Instructure partners and to learn how they can help you make teaching and learning even more awesome.
4. Introducing a Kid's Pass.
To make InstructureCon even more family-friendly, you can now buy a $150 pass for children four years and older. The pass will include all event meals and some cool Instructure swag.
5. Begin with Bridge.
Workshops, presentations, and other awesome events for our Bridge talent management platform will move to the beginning of InstructureCon, so arrive early and check it out!
Registration for InstructureCon 2018 will open at the end of January. Keep in mind that we’ll be making badging a priority this year, so you’ll need to have your badge at all meals/receptions/concerts.
BECOME A PRESENTER, BECOME INSTCON FAMOUS
If you want to impart your edtech wisdom, demonstrate a surprising trend in data, or share a success story / best practice that could help other institutions, send us your presentation proposals by February 16. If approved, we’ll reward your education altruism with your own breakout room and discount on registration.
Hope to see you this summer!
