With a backdrop of sunshine and palm trees, educators from throughout California and neighboring states saw the bright future of pedagogy and innovation at CanvasCon hosted by California State University, Los Angeles (Cal State LA)

Attendees had a chance to learn best edtech practices, Canvas learning management system (LMS) tips, and to take part in extensive networking opportunities. The one-day event provided new avenues for collaboration, which is what many teachers and administrators said they were looking for.
