The United State is losing its edge. In terms of our economy, our overall health, and now in our workforce, especially when it comes to millenials. It shouldn't surprise anyone when we say that young Americans are more educated than ever before. They've had more opportunities in throughout their young lives to gain education, from the traditional model, to new online only universities. But it seems like all of that schooling has not paid off, especially when it comes to their level off preparedness for global competition. According to a new report compiled by the Program for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC), U.S. Millenials rank near the bottom in both literacy and numeracy. This report is valuable because it shows not only that our educational efforts aren't going far enough, but that we're not necessarily teach our new students the right subjects in the right ways. So the next question is, how do we change this, and where do we even start?
