Video E-Training vs. Traditional Methods
It makes sense: video observation has the power to improve teaching. A two-year study by Harvard University called “Best Foot Forward” (2015) shows how video observations generated effective feedback. Compared with traditional observations, feedback was more specific and less adversarial. Why? Teachers could more easily narrow in on student strengths and weaknesses, as well as observe and reflect on student reactions in a way that can only be captured on video.
