How to Bring Learning Management to My Business
Deloitte University Press published their fourth annual, Global Human Capital Trends report, based on surveys and interviews with more than 7,000 business and HR leaders from 130 countries. The dominant theme this year is that 92% of executives view the need to redesign their organization as a critical priority, and 84% of executives rate learning as “important or very important” to their success.
37 Percent of Companies Think That Their Current Learning Programs Are Effective
The report also highlights how employees now “demand continuous learning opportunities through innovative platforms tailored to their individual schedules.” To address this, the most innovative companies are investing in “building internal knowledge-sharing programs, developing easy-to-use portals and video sharing systems, and promoting collaborative experiences at work that help people constantly learn and share knowledge.” However, many companies still face significant challenges in realizing this vision. Even as spending on learning continues to rise (up 10 percent last year to over $140 billion), only 37 percent of companies believe their current learning programs are effective. We just may know something that can help.
