It’s hard to believe Instructure was founded 10 years ago by a couple of college kids. But no one can dispute how the culture that helped form our company is still shaping it a decade later.
Making money is great and all, but what we really do is make people smarter. And it begins and ends with how we treat the people within our walls. As counterintuitive as it was way back then, we knew culture is what would help set us apart. So we created a space where employees could be creative, passionate, and maybe even beef up their ping pong skills.
This commitment to creating an awesome work environment was recently recognized by Entrepreneur, as Instructure was honored to be included in its Top Company Cultures list — among the top 15 large companies, to be exact.
This list is kind of a big deal — it’s a comprehensive ranking of all companies in the U.S. of all sizes that demonstrate high-performance cultures. And because the rankings are based exclusively on employee surveys, we know our employees are also walking the talk when it comes to engagement.
From corporations to classrooms, Instructure’s soul purpose (get it???) is to drive engagement and enhance performance — from the inside out. And we’re honored such a respected publication is taking note.
Thanks to everyone who makes this place feel so Instructure-y every day.
