Guides
- Getting Started:
- For Students:
- For Teachers:
If your teacher is utilizing the grade book Canvas provides, you'll be able to see your scores and teacher feedback as soon as they finish grading. Your grades can only be seen by you, after you've securely logged in, and the teacher.
To find out how you can receive notifications, like when grades are available, to your email account or cell phone check out How do I set up my communications preferences?

Behold the assignment list with recorded grades
Your scores or letter grades recorded for each assignment are listed in the "Score" column. The cartoon dialogue icon to the right of an entry means the teacher has left you some feedback on that assignment. Just click on the icon to see all the feedback.
The paper icon for the "Logical Fallacy" assignment signifies that you have turned in the assignment, but is has yet to be graded or recorded.
What might have been
By clicking on your score (or where you score will go) in the assignment list you can edit your score for that assignment. Sorry, this doesn't update your actual score, but it does let you see what your calculated score would be. It updates automatically. We highlight your entered score in red so you won't get real scores mixed up with "what if" scores.
